The Next Chapter in the Renovation of the Franklin Lakes Library

 

The Franklin Lakes Public Library Foundation is dedicated to enhancing our community by raising funds, building vital resources, and engaging passionate individuals who share a love for learning and growth.

Phase 1 - Meeting Room, Art Gallery and Foyer

If you have not been at our library recently, please come visit us to see the exciting start of the first interior renovation of our facility in over twenty years. Our first phase is now complete. Our foyer, meeting room and art gallery are modernized, welcoming and beautiful. This first phase was paid for with funds accumulated by the Library over the years together with some sizable donations. 

Phase 2 - Children’s Library and Circulation Area

Better sight lines, improved service capabilities, more seating, and more entertainment for our younger patrons can all be seen in the video. We are also planning to construct a recording studio for our musically-inclined patrons. 

Phase 2 of our renovation plans will cost approximately $1.25 million and will require support from our residents. We need every patron's help at whatever level you wish to give.
